The A.P. High Court on Wednesday suspended the five judicial officers whose names figured in the controversy pertaining to malpractices while writing the LLM (Master of Law) examination held at the Kakatiya University's Arts College in Warangal.

They are Ajitsimha Rao, senior civil judge, Vijayender Reddy, second additional district judge of Ranga Reddy, M. Kistappa, senior civil judge of Ananthapur, Srinivasachary, senior civil judge of Bapatla and Hanumantha Rao, additional junior civil judge of Warangal. The High Court was informed that their names figured in the list of persons who were debarred for alleged involvement in malpractices in the examination centre.

Viewing the reports seriously, Chief Justice Nisar Mohamad Kakru called for a preliminary report and, as per the due procedure, these officers were kept under suspension. Departmental proceedings are being initiated.
