ED issues notice for attachment of Hassan Ali's properties

The Enforcement Directorate, ED has issued a show cause notice for attachment of properties of Pune stud farm owner Hassan Ali Khan and his Kolkata-based associate Kashinath Tapuriah in a money laundering case. The ED issued the order on Thursday under the stringent Prevention of Money Laundering Act after it got the approval of the adjudicating authority of the law. Official sources said, the properties under attachment, worth 50 crore rupees, are located in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. Hasan Ali's lawyer R K Gaur said that he will appeal against the attachment order.
