Bombay High Court has taken serious note of the Complain filed by Capt Sukhdev Singh a Senior Ship Master, against above two Shipping Companies and its officials, for his victimisation and their contempt. The Hon'ble High Court has issued Writ of summons to the Chairman Mr. K. M. Sheth, Managing Director Mr. Vijay K Sheth and other officials of the Company including Director General of Shipping and additional Provident Fund Commissioner Bandra, directing them to answer to the complain made against them by the Plaintiff in NMS 2514 of 2007 in Suit No. 527 of 2005. In spite of the Captain being in services of the Company to date, he is not being paid his wages and allowances since the year of 2003. Many more contempt is also committed by the above said companies to delay justice to the Plaintiff, of which Hon'ble High Court has taken serious note. The Bombay High Court Division bench of "Hon'ble Chief Justice & Justice D.Y. Chanderchud", Justice SR Sathe, Justice D.K. Deshmukh, Justice Dharamadhikari, Justice Kamdar, Justice Deshpande, Justice Smt.N.N. Mhatre, Justice Karnik, Justice V.M. Kanade, Justice Kathawala the Hon'ble Judges has heard the matter so far since the year of 2004. Prayers for action against the Company officials under 195 crpc act and issue of show cause notice is also pending hearing before the Hon'ble High Court. The matter now before Justice V.M More. The Plaintiff Capt Sukhdev Singh is now presenting his case in person, since his advocates "M/S Consulta Juris a law firm at Nariman Point Mumbai" were probably won over by the Defendants and took discharge from the matter in spite of receiving a hefty fee from the Plaintiff. The Defendants are being represented by M/s Hariani & Co. and other senior counsels like Mr. Tuljapurkar, Mr.Nitin Thakkar, a/w. Mr. B. Colabawala, i/b.and others from mumbai. Where as Director General of shipping and Regional provident fund Commissioner are being represented by senior advocates Mrs jayotishna Pandis and Mr. Sureshkumar. Legal Bombay High Court
