Dr. M. Sarangi to be Secretary M/O Labour & Employment

 The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Dr. Mrutyunjay Sarangi, IAS (TN:77), presently Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, as Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment vice Shri P.C. Chaturvedi, IAS (UP:75), on his retirement on 31st August, 2011.

The ACC has also approved the appointment of Shri R. Ramanujam, IAS (MP:79), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister with effect from 1st September, 2011.
