The Bar Council of India has announced the tentative date for the All India Bar Examination-VII to be 29th June, 2014.
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) examines an Advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE assesses skills at a basic level, and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; it addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding of the basic knowledge of law. After passing the examination candidates are awarded Certificate of Practice (COP) by the Bar Council of India.
