Symbiosis Law School, Pune lifted the glittering championship trophy, a cash prize of Rs 10000 and one year access card of SCC Online web edition in the 4th RGNUL- SCC Online National Moot Court Competition, held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of March at RGNUL, Patiala. The team SLS, Pune, comprised of Chandrajeet Das, BBA LLB III Year and PriyankaArora, BBA LLB III Year as speakers and Ridhish Rajvanshi, BA LLB II Year as researcher.Competition saw the participation of 50 teams from all over India.

The moot problem involved diverse issues of Constitutional law, and required multifarious approaches to crack it. The written submission in the first week of March was followed by the oral rounds towards the end of March.These oral rounds helped the team understand different dimensions of the problem and respond in the most apt manner to the questions posed by judges. The team SLS, Pune’s excellent performance, strong arguments and beautiful articulation of both facts and law points were appreciated by one and all in the audience including judges.

The final round of Moot was adjudged by a panel of five judges comprising of Hon' bleMr J. HaripalVerma, Judge of P& H High Court, Hon' ble Mr. P. B. Bajalchri, Judge of P&H High Court, Prof (Dr) Balram Gupta, former Director, National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, Prof(Dr.) PS Jaswal, VC (RGNUL)and  Prof (Dr) Nishtha Jaswal, Chairperson, Dept of Law, Punjab University.
