Who is real owner of a land

Yes, person whom land is recorded entitled to get compensation.

The original owner is entitled for compensation ,you may object it and approach court and take stay not to dispose the amount ,our court process is too slow ,so they may come to compromise ,then u can compromise ,if they proceed you loose .for minimum amount you can compromise if you are greedy you loose everything .

The Railway might have published such notification listing names of such owner/possession as per revenue records and extent of land intended to be acquired with such survey no and calling for objections if any.  Please file RTI Application to concerned Railways and obtain a copy of such notification and the notification disclose the name of the beneficiary.  Generally, they designate Collector as Land acquisition officer and he may designate Joint collector.  You can also get such notification from District Collector..  You can file online RTI to Railways with RTI fee of Rs.10/- and can seek information.

Khasra girdawari is a revenue document in which the patwari (revenue officer), on the basis of harvest inspection done twice a year, makes entries like name of land owner, land cultivator, land or khasra number, area of land, nature of land like cultivated or non-cultivated, source of irrigation, crop sown and revenue .
