What to do if police does not take action after filling fir

A FIR was lodged in Economic Offence wing in Faridabad against a Builder M/s Era landmark Ltd (now Adel Landmarks project Ltd) on 4th May 2012 under section 120B/406/420.

Till date no action has been taken against Defaulters and no report of Investigation done by Police in Faridabad , has been given, i.e. the police is doing cover up because of Crony Capitalism.

Hon.SC has made it compulsory for filling FIR in Cognizable offence, But what after that?

What should a Victim do in such a situation ?

Once FIR is filed, the police duty is to investigate and prepare chargesheet to submit in the concern court within 90 days from the date of filling of FIR.The courts will look into the matter.

In India laws are never implemented and in your kind of matter it is golden opportunity for the IO to extract bribes and offer protection to accused persons. If you persist they will say it is civil matter and close the case. You should also lodge a complaint with local lok ayukta if there is one.

Over 60 yrs. of corrupt rules by the thugs and pimps now there is a hope that you will have proper lokayukta in your state as well as demanded by Paplu. Prey it happens by February end.
