I am HR, my company has 8.30hours working a day including 30mints lunch time,1st & 3rd Saturday off, and all Sunday off.
1- as per S&E Act. working hours should be max 48hours a week. then what should be the monthly working hours for my company.
2- if i calculate 48hours/week* 4 weeks = 192hours a month
and If i calculate 8.30hours/day * 24days = 199hours a month.
Which one is correct, as we calculate salary on monthly bases.
Also wanted to ask if we can combined Festival leaves with Paid leaves
As my current company is giving
12 Festival leaves & 15paid leaves (1.25 PL/ month)
as per Law what should the total paid leave for a company registered under Shops & Establishment Act.
