What is hindu husband's authority on wife's property ?

I want to let my brother take a loan against my property in India. I live abroad. But my husband threatens me that he will approach court and get stay if I give my land as s securtity for my brother's loan. Is it possible ?

Land is my self-earned, with my income, from my job, and it is in my name only. Thanks
