A person who is giving threats of life on cell phone to my friend as her elder sis was forcefully married to her employer. n they cant afford a private lawyer as her total income was 10k n now she has no job. wats the procedure she has to follow in order to get govt lawyer for defense in district courts as her first appearence is on 30.07.10. pls sir /maam help me.

Ask them to request for free legal aid from the Legal Services Authority of the District. Legal Services Authority is usually located in the District Court Complex itself.
