voting right of owner having multiple flats.

sir,
I own a land in chennai which was given to a builder for development of apartment.Total number of flats built is 10 flats.I own 6 flats and the balance 4 flats were sold by the builder to different parties.The builder states as per the association rules i have only 1 vote though i own 6 flats.Kindly advise me about my voting right as l hold 62% of undivided share in the total property.

Dear querist,

 

In case criteria of giving voting right are number of flats owned then you have 6 votes.

If as per by-laws of your society one vote one person irrespective of number of flats owned than one vote.

Please check bylaws of your society.
