Trancparency in judicial appointments

Justice Krishna Iyer in his open letter to CJI, has advised -

''Currently many High Court collegiums and perhaps of the Supreme Court too are going through selection operation in a privatised and secret manner. Kindly consider whether you should stop this for the norms until Parliament enacts a new Code of selection,.. "

He  urged to CJI to ensure that let not anyone be appointed without people knowing it in advance and participating in a critical session by a lofty body of public activists and high eminence.

Once again it is highlighted that the Judiciary has no change even after freedom from British Dictators on 15 August 1947 and no existence of democracy is seen after 26 January 1950 till now.  What the democratic rights it will provide to citizens ???  It is very serious matter and needs immediate remedy to stop GOING ON SEVERE DAMAGE.  It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL IN THE LIGHT OF DEMOCRATIC MEASURES.
