I am in Kolkata residing as a tenant since 2003 my owner and his wife died and they have no children so my landlords sisters and brother took over and asked me for rent I have been paying him since last 3 years..only with rent receipt as we never agreed on agreement...so only rent receipt is enough ?

Rent receipt is good document to show the tenancy in the court in case of any dispute arises for the same.Apart for these you should have other documents to show your present place of residence at the particular premises, these can be your Passport, Aadahar card and Driving Licence.
