prior to 1947, brothers A n B were tenants of a commercial property in Mumbai, rent receipt was in d name of A. after 1947, A migrated to Pakistan. in 1952 C joined as a partner with B. in 1969 B died. C dies in d year 2010. in 2017, lanlord transfers d rent receipt in D's name. d important query is - can A's heirs ( grandchildren or great grandchildren who have settled in India ) CLAIM TENANCY RIGHTS ??
