Suspended from Government Services

If a person got suspended from Government services when he is nearing his retirement, will there be any change in his benefits status like rest of the retiring employees or his life is over without any service certificates and pension/pf etc.

Please advice and suggest.Thanks

Suspension will be made with due recourse to sec 10 of CCA Rules. There iis no rule as such that suspension cannot be effected while an employee is nearing retirement.  But, it is the gravity if charges that matters.  If an inquiry is ordered, it has to be completed within the period of superannuation as far as practicable.  But the punishment cannot be imposed after retirement under these rules except recovery of pecuniary loss.  Retirement benifit follows trhe final result of the inquiry.
