Sun film in car

Sir,

I stay in Mysore. I have a car in which I have sun film pasted for side glasses and rear glass. Now citing Supreme court judgment police are asking us to remove the film in total. In fact if I remember correct, the front and rear class visibilility should not be less than 70% and side glasses not less than 50%. Am I right? If I am then can I challenge police order to remove the sun film in toto?  Can a copy of the judgement be given with the  answer for this querry?

Your early reply will be highly appreciated.

Thanking you.

you cannot challenge the order. all kinds of sun films whatsoever are not allowed. only the manufacturer is authorized to produce/install tinted glasses in car and he has to conform to the 70% / 50% rule.
