Respected members,

Clarify the statement given in a judgemet in a supreme court.

"student who takes examination is not a consumer"

students is a consumer, under certain conditions.


When the board or universities fail to perform their duty then the student become consumer and he is Eligible for the protection under consumer protection act 1986.

If university declared results with mistakes which spoiled the life of a student, then will the student become a consumer?

nope.. you apply for revaluation or take the photocopy of answer scriptt. compare your answer scriptt with scheme of evaluation based on that you can decide.

YES STUDENT IS A CONSUMER UNDER CERTAIN CONDITION
