The stamps act,1899 to the extends to the whole of India except the state of Jammu & Kashmir.The documents includes every document by which any right or liability is, or purpoorts to be, created, transferred, limited, extended, extinguished or recorded.

I want to know myself what is the stamp duty in Andhra Pradesh for a rental deed for 11 months if rent is Rs.5,000/- and what is the stamp duty for Rs.10,000/- for a promissory note in A.ndhra Pradesh.
