In case current employer is not in same business and such activates are prohibited as per contract between you and your employer, then you can do so.

There are so many persons doing business on their relatives name, even on the name of wife and children. So my query is there any legal rule that a person who is doing job can not do or support business which is even not on his name.
Thanks

If he is a govt servant thenit is blanket "NO" for doing any job while in service.

You have not elaborated /consulted terms of service with the company  which has employed you.
