Sir,

A work order executed in the year 2001 for supply of some furniture items to the SDO(Civil) on his order for supply the same for Rs. 4 lcs.

In the year 2005 Rs. 2 lacs paid.

In the year 2010 Rs. 1 lac paid.

In the year 2013, WP(C) case U/s 80 CPC was filed in the High Court, the High Court also directed the depatment to pay the amount assoon as possible. and a copy of the judgment was also submitted with the department.

But till now the balance due of Rs, 1 lac is outstanding.

Q:-

1] What steps are available for the recovery of balance amount?

2] Can interest or any compensation may be charged on the total/ partial/ balance amount ?

3] Any legal remedy available?

You will have to file an execution petition to recover the amount as per the decree

An execution of the said order shall have to be filed for the recovery of the said amount . Interest shall also be awarded by the court provided the same has been asked for by you in the petition .
