Hi,
I belongs from SC category and i want to purchase a plot from ST category. I heared that no other cast can purchase any kind of property from ST category. owner of plot dont have any objection. many people (belongs from : General, OBC) purchased plot from him. should i go ahead and purchase.

It depends on local Tenancy laws/act. Plz. specify which area u belong to.

Isaac! It is absolutely true that in various States like Rajasthan such enactments have been made and those are strictly adhared to.
