Sale deed - cancellation and re-registration

I registered a house in New Delhi and the register office lost the original sale deed.  They gave certified copy temporarily but with this I will have problem in selling in future.  What step should I take now?

  1.  Is it possible to cancel the last sale deed with mutual agreement between seller and myself and re-register with new stamp paper again?  In this case I will have original documents and I will not have any problem in future.
  2. Is there any way to get another stamp paper explaining the loss or should I pay the stamp charges again?
  3. Can anybody misuse the lost document? (Parental documents are with me)

Certified copy of the sale is valid.
