Go thru the A/c opening form signed with Bank.

It might contain clauses on BL,RTSO;  Banker’s right to lien and set off.

Do you have a copy of IT?

The customer should keep all copies.

Did bank supply any notice well in advance prior to creating lien and set off or debit or held as posted by you?

Write to bank/lender under proper acknowledgment to supply by Redg. Post from psot office authenticated coy of each page (front and back) of A/c opening form and mention that the said a/c is salary account and a/c held/lien/debit has affected your very subsistence and ask to vacate the lien at once and confirm in writing.

Bank/lender is under obligation to supply a reply.

You may go thru;

Code of Civil Procedure, 1908; Section 60

https://www.lawzonline.com/bareacts/civil-procedure-code/section60-code-of-civil-procedure.htm

and more so (1) (i) carefully…..

Publications by RBI:

v. Lien

Banks have a right to exercise lien under section 171 of the Indian Contract Act against the dues from constituents/customers. However, the banks cannot exercise lien over the personal account of a customer on the ground that money was due to the bank in another account where he acts in a different capacity, if there is no agreement to that effect.

@ Mr. Aminur SK,

4 (four) most vague and irrelevant psots by Mr. Kumar Doab, as if playing a number game just to add number of posts at his credit.

Has it not surprised you when Mr. kumar Doab has advbised you to "You may go thru; Code of Civil Procedure, 1908; Section 60", as if you are going to start practise of Law in the Indian courts, specifically when you have not raised any issue of any decree of court attachment issued by any court against you or your client?

IT=@PSD is stuttering, stammerring in another threads.

In IT's =@PSD's admission and own words it is IT's die hard habit.

IT=@PSD may pose as ome layer in as many threads the fact is IT=@PSD is not a lawyer ( is a Liar) and firms that IT fluants at LCI are not law firms (are Liar's firms)........

Anyone may tutor IT=@PSD for years IT=@PSD won't learn..
