Return of property petition dismmised

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

i filed a petition for return of property of two gold bars and cash of Rs.4,00,000/-, which were seized by police from the accused, as a matter of fact , our client running a jewellery shop and exporters , the accused approched and requested to export gold to his showroom, according our client has delivered as per  requiste of  accused, the accused has issued cheque for the same, but all the cheque were bounced, same was intiated to accused has again  issued three cheques and encashed the one cheque for Rs.65,000/- out of 27 lakhs., after that the accused was abconding., we made complaint and the police has registered the case  under section 420 ipc ., under investigation the accused was arrested , the police has seized two gold bars and 4 lakhs of cash.

please help me out  with citations for return of property

It was a business deal. The court would decide about the same.

Move Writ Petition in High Court.
