Respected Lawyers Club,
If any suit is filed of me in court for non-payment of my broadband internet connection - Can UPSC Civil Services reject my candidature on that cause?
As I am not sure of the category -> I have given Criminal Law -> IPC.
Kindly advice.

no it will not affect your candidature as this is not a criminal offence but it is an economic offence.
i will suggest you to negotiate the matter with the ISP and pay the outstanding sum in order to avoid any future litigation by the ISP and be on the safer side.
but in any case it will not affect your candidature for the exam.

You need not worry about this, this will not make any impact to your civil services aspired examination or employment.
