Dear All
Can any one please tell me if we receive a show cause notice U/S 215 of the Companies Act 1956 and legal action wil be contemplated as per section 629A of Companies Act 1956 if the showcause notice is unanswerd within 15 days.
What i wnt is if the showcause notice is unanswerd due to valid reason,whether we can ask for extention of date is any other remedy available for this.

as the law is not clear in this regard,l in my opinion you can ask for extension but if they are not satisfied by your explanation or otherwise you are bound to pay the penaly upto Rs.5000/-.
