Releiving order and FNF held

Hi experts, i worked in an mnc till august 2015. I resigned as per notice period and policy. During my service period i uploaded one excel file in online comparison website which was allowed in my company network for project purpose. But they investigated me as they thought that it is data theft. I explained them that i did for my project task only. Then I got releived on my last working day but still they held my releiving letter and last month salary saying that i need to sign and indemnity bond to get both. What should i do? Please advise me. Is releiving order mandatory? I am not interested with indemnity bond.

Claim that you were authorized to do so. It is not data theft at all. Service certificate is to be issued to all employees. Relieving letter signifies that employee has separated and nothing is due. Don't sign any indemnity bond until your able labor Law Consultant has examined everything in detail. Lean on your employee's/trade union leaders, able labor Law Consultant if you are unable to handle on your own.
