Sir, if there is no registration required for Business name as Sole-Proprietor, the do I need to get any kind of License for the Shop/Office space from where I will run the Proprietor business from Labour and Employment Office or Directorate of Industries ?

yes, you are rquired to be registered under Shop and Commercial Establishment of your State.

Shop and Commercial Establishment means Shop and Commercial Establishment Act

In addition to registration under shops and establishment act, In some States, Trade License has to be taken for carrying out business.
