Regarding divorce

Dear Sir, I have an important query regarding divorce. A husband got divorce in a district session court without the consent of his wife. In this case what legal help can be taken by the wife?

The Court order/judgment and decree of the divorce has to be checked to see under which provision/Act, the divorce was granted to husband by the court. It is not necessary that all divorces allowed by the Family Court should be with consent of both parties, there are many where ex-parte order passed when the opposite party remains absent and doesn't defend the divorce petition and third type where the divorce petition filed by one party being contested by the other and on merits the court decides the petition in favour of the petitioner and allows the divorce.

In this case the order/judgment/decree all to be checked to confirm what type of divorce allowed to the husband.

You need to engage service of lawyer to inspect the case file, obtain the certified copies of the case file and than only you can be told what steps to be taken in this regard.
