regarding consideration of contract

if a person says to an advocate that if u won the case I'll give you Rs.1 or 2 thousand more than stipulated fee's. ....is that person bound to give if yes why if not why. ...?

No...not satisfactory. ....it's about consideration 2 (d) of contract act. ..but don't know how it's related to 2 (d) ....teacher didnt ans....anybody? ??
