normally in tamilnadu all the trail suits which are not in list after framing issues are posted one or two months time.  When the suit is listed for trail it will be posted on daily or day today basis.  e.g if the suit is listed in this month2011 normally it will be concluded in january 2012 itself.  but chirstmas and pongal holidays are coming.  So that it may take upto february  2012.  instruct your counsel to represent that the party is a senior citizen.  It will be taken into consideration by the trail court while giving adjournments or give short span of time
