My father had constructed a house around 30 yrs back & adjacent to the house was the railway land where some quarters were there. There was a 2 meter path which went to my house via the railway land. Now railway is demolishing those old quarters and doing new construction wherein the thekedar is saying that they will close the road, as per their construction map. Even the railway engineer is adament on closing the road.
Earlier there was a railway boundary wall which was around 5 feet in height & we had an opening in our wall for light & air. Now as part of new construction railway is increasing the height of their wall which will block the opening for light & air in my wall.
Below is my query:
- How can we demand to maintain the earlier road which was there for our house.
- How can we ensure that railway wall do not close our light & air opening
