Query on pf

Dear Experts,

I would like to know whether there is any age bar on EPF, as one senior employee of a private company is attaining 58 years, and the complany whishes to extend his service for another 2 years.  Is it that , as long as he is in service, EPF is statutory. If not , guide me with the exact provision/ section of law.

I understand that pension contribution has to be stopped on the day of attaining 58 years. please let me know the provision for the same.

Total employer's share goes to EPF.

once a person becomes Employees’ Provident Fund member will remain member till the employment.

On attaining 58 Years of age, an EPF member cease to be a member of EPS automatically.
