Property Transfer to PVT LTD Co.

Hello,

We have purchased 260 acres of agricultural land in Karnataka and would like to transfer it to a PVT LTD company which will be a karnataka based company. My questions are as follows:

1. What is the process of opening a PVT LTD company in Karnataka?

2. How much does it cost to create a PVT LTD company in Karnataka?

3. What is the procedure to transfer the agricultural land (260 acres) from old individuals names to a PVT LTD company in karnataka?

4. How much does it cost to transfer agricultural land (260 acres) to a PVT LTD company ?

Hello,

As far as your third question is concerned you will have to execute a sale deed by persons who are the owners of the land at present in favour of the company, the sale deed has to be registered. Please ensure that before coming up with a company the agricultural land has to be converted into non-agricultural commercial use by paying prescribed fees with the concerned government authority. Consult local advocate and get things clarified, all the times when your dealing with legal matters.
