Property donation to one son by father .

Sir, My neighbor, Sri Manish has a major issue with the property of his father. His father donated all his property to his elder brother without consent of Sri Manish. When asked to his father , he said, "dahan kar diya jo karna ho kar lo" . Kindly advice that what can be done ? .Now the question is, a. Can my father donate the entire property to my elder brother without consent of other children.? b. Can I file a case against this?? Hope to get reply from expert ?? Regards.
