Property Division

We live in the back portion of our house who is jointly owned by my father and his elder brother. Family of the elder brother lives in front portion. My father passed away and we wish to sell our part or make a builder flat however because they are living in front side there is no proper divison. we are unable to do anything and our uncle doesn't talk to us and is not letting us do anything. If we try to talk he starts abusing. We want equal half property divison from front so we can take our own decision about our legal property.
