Property cheat

I gave loan of 20 lakhs and to a guy to build his house. he registered that house on my name.
Later he decide to get loan from equity finance and promises to repay my 20 lakhs. so I signed document to register house on his name. he payed 15 lakhs to me.

He later didn't repay remaining 5 lakhs and he sold the house to another guy.

I have old 2009 blank check and few documents. Anything possible to my remaining money from him?

As per my understanding your case time barred legally, still you can approach local advocate for second opinion.

2. AT THE TIME OF TRANSFER OF PROPERTY FROM YOUR HAND TO YOUR FRIEND , HAS HE GIVEN ANY SURETY OR SECURITY OR ANY NOTE FOR BAALNCE AMOUNT PAYMENT. 

3.  YOU SAID YOU HAVE A BLANK CHEQUE. BUT U NOT GIVEN ANY DATE MENTIONED IN THE CHEQUE .

4. YOU ALSO MENTIONED YOU HAVE SOME DOCUEMNTS WITH YOU .BUT YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED WHAT TYPE OF DOCUMENTS YOU HAVE IN YOUR HAND, AND THE SAID DOCUEMENTS BELONG TO THE SAME SALE TRANSACTION. 

IF YOU CAN PROVIDE  ALL THE ABOVE DETAILS  I CAN GIVE SOME VALUABLE LEGAL ADVISE.  BECASUE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY..
