Promissory note

Dear Sir,

 

I gave Rs. 6 lacs (2.5 years back) to a state government employee and he gave me a promissory note , a cheque and a letter with his hand writing saying that  he took amount from me and he gave pro note and chq. , I am not getting amount my amount back, now I want to file a case aganist him with an attachment to his job.

kindly let me know what the documents required to file a attachment case.

Promissory notes are valid for 3 years. You must file money recovery suit within 3 years. I am not sure about attaching a job but court can attach borrower properties.

You can file civil suit for recovery of money within three years from execution of pro-note.As the opposite party is Govt  employee so no need to worry,if judgment of court comes in your favour ,you may got attached his sallary and recover your money .
