If you have been cheated by such profile certainly there are legal ways by which you can get hold of entire information required by you.

Mr Rajesh Agarwal, In India these matrimonial websites are bound as per the Intermediately Guidelines Rules, 2011, under rule 3 “Due diligence to be observed by intermediary” and the users are not supposed to falsify information. So, if you file a complaint, the false profile may be taken down. And if you have been legally injured, you can contact local cyber cell who in turn investigate and coordinate with the required websites.
