Proclamation to avoid harrassment

In a family of 4 (Husband, Wife and Two Children),  Husband is taking debts on very high interest rates. He is a womaniser and spending everything there. The lenders keep calling the other family members i.e. Wife and Children.

To avoid this harrasement, the family has decided to give a proclamation in the paper that they are not responsivle for their husbands loans.

  1. What is the process to give this proclamation?
  2. After proclamation is given, the wife will file a divorce petition. So till that time the Husband will live with the family. Will that have impact on the proclamation?

Hello,

You may publish the proclamation in the local newspaper by simply publishing the lines as stated in your query. However, the proclamation by the wife will not have much significance.

The husband being a womanizer is good ground for divorce so a divorce petition can be filed on this ground along with indebtedness etc.
