My father passed away in January and as per his notarised will, his flat is to be transferred to the name of myself and my brother, 50-50 share.
one lawyer i have approached states that the will has to be made probate and only then can the transfer happen.
Is there any other process apart from probate? I am sure everybody does not have 1 yrs time and 2-3 lacs to spend on probate.
The society is willing to transfer the flat to our names on the share certificate as per his will.
can some one please guide how to register the flat on both my brother's and my name please.
