Procedure of shutting down a part of manufacturing plant

I wish to shut down a part of my manufacturing plant which will render around 10 employees jobless. It is an aluminium utensils manufacturing plant and I want to shut down the unit that melts the raw material. I will buy the semi processed raw material instead. The rest of the plant will continue operation as it is. Please advise the procedure (labour office, excise dept. etc.) to shut down this part of my manufacturing plant.
