Father-in-law made dowry allegation to which the opponent filed tax evasion petition and requested the info.through RTI but the concerned PIO has denied by saying the following as "in accordance with provisions of section 24(1) of RTI Act,2005 the office of income tax investigation Dept is exempted from complying with the provisions of RTI,2005.
please suggest how to get the info. Accordingly application was disposed off.
Kindly suggest how to get the info.
1. RTI is not applicable to personal info thru the Income Tax Dept., and they are exempted from the same, unless & untill they receive court directions to provide info.
