Performance bonus

I have taken loan from my previous company. Just before resignation I got my Performance bonus and Increment letter. I resigned and thought all the loan will adjust with my Full and final salary and with performance bonus. I have given shorter notice period but my immediate boss has releave me on email. when I asked for Full and Final working they had not adjusted my Performance bonus with the loan amount and demanded balance amount and also adjust some notice period amount with salary. they replied on my query that as per company policy Performance bonus will not paid as I left organisation before its payment. Nothing has been mentioned in Performance bonus letter nor in Appointment letter. please help what I have to do....

If you have worked for full period set for performance for performance bonus then the date for payment should not matter.

If you have left in the interim then  request for pro rated payment.

It is fruit of labor and employer should pay.

Remain gentle and amiable.

Write under proper acknowledgment mentioning that FnF statement has errors (and not acceptable) and point out the variances……………….and request to pay………………..and supply correct FnF statement.

Escalalte to good offices of appointing authrotiy, MD.
