Hello ! sir /madam i am having a query regarding section -4 of gratuity act 1972 which entitles every employee who has worked for not less than 5 continuous years is entitled to get gratuity on retirement.
Accordingly ,my father has worked for 32 continuous years in a central govt department on adhoc basis. Moreover he is also covered under the defination of employee emodied in section2 (e) of the aforesaid act.
Will he be covered under section 4 of the aforementioned act or any other act regulating the payment of gratuity to central government employees for services rendered on adhoc basis ?
1. Pl. indicate in which Department of Central Govt. your father is/was working on adhoc basis.
2. Pl. indicate the post in which your father is/was working.
3. Pl indicate the place / location in which your father is/was working.
