pay fixation on appointment at higher post through direct recruitment in the same organization

Sir, I joined as PGT on 28 Jan 2013 in the same organisation through direct recruitment and relieved from the previous post of TGT after technical resignation. My pay was fixed at 15290+4800 with DNI 1/07/2014. My last pay as TGT was 15290 and no increment was given to me on new posting of higher post. what should be the correct fixation and the rules related to this to be represented? please help

Yes.  You are eligible for fixation of pay.  Your pay as in the lower post is Rs.15290/-.  so the post you are selected is higher responsibilities, your pay may be fixed to next above to your old post.

thank you very much sir. i also want to know whether it is applicable as per ccs(revised pay) rules 2008. kindly refer the rules so that I can represent my case.
