Patta not given

Respected Sir / Madam,

I am Balaji from Chennai settled in Singapore. Last year i bought a land in Pattipulam Village, ECR (Opp to De-salination Plant) and the same got register. It is a big land and sold in sub-divided mode.

The Issue is :

The mediator who sold the property to me is delaying in prviding Patta. When i ask him, the reply is patta cant be given for only your land. You need to wait for sometimes.

Almost one year crossed, he is still delaying the sequences because we are in Singapore. I told him if i didnt get the Patta in another 15 days (15-September-2014), i will approach advocate for getting stay order for all your plots (Apprx 25 plots).

Whai i said is right or any possibilties for leagl move to close this asap ?

Please guide me with your experience.

Thanks,

Balaji

is it registered by the original owner in your name? if the land was registered in your name by the real owner, then apply to the authorities of local body concerned with the copy of the document for mutation.

Respected Sir,

Yes it was registered in my name by the owner. Can you please detail me what is the local body means and how can I approach them. Any contact number or website.

How to take action on that mediator after approaching local bodies.

Really sorry if I confused you in my statements.

Thanks

Balaji
