A friend of mine has applied for obtaining fresh (New) passport with passport office, during the scrutiny of his documents spelling of his name did not match with that of school living certificate. the passport officer denied to alter the spelling from prafullsinh ( as shown in school living cert.) to Prafulsinh.
Now what can be done to change name's spelling as above legally ,before issuance and dispatch of passport from passport office. Please advise. Thank you.
