Passport 1967 act 12 b(1)

hi All, I have get my passport done in the month of march,its was an emergency so I get it done in tatkal, I have received the passport in 3 business days. As there were 2 address in my application so I got the call from Police verification which I went and did however for the recent location I had never received any call or information for the same and today I received a show cause notice that adverse police verification report pertains to my name and I have togo to regional passport office, what should I do in this case

What is the nature of the advesre report? have you been provided with a copy of the report? Anyhow, you can go to the Office and explain if there is nothing adverse.

First find out what exactly is given in the notice show causing you to explain, then give an affidavit to that effect stating that you had been residing and are residing in any particular address if that is what is the cause for the notice.
